We had our first Virtual Town Hall Meeting hosted by the Alaska ACLU. Family members of incarcerated Alaskans, as well as a select few individuals working within the re-entry community were invited to speak on their concerns regarding COVID19's impact on their incarcerated loved ones. It was the first of many future discussions that will be held. If you did not have the opportunity to attend the Town Hall, please do not feel discouraged, as there will be ample opportunity for you to lend your voice to the conversation in the near future. Once we have received a date and time for the next meeting, I will share it across all platforms.

The Alaska ACLU has asked that all participants register prior to receiving meeting invite instructions. This is merely to ensure that the Virtual Town Hall for Families of Incarcerated Persons remains a safe space for open and honest discussion.

We look forward to seeing you all at future meetings!
